We take privacy seriously. Ginkgo collects as little data as we can (we don't track you), and we only use analytics to improve app experience and stability (no ads!). Your photos are stored on-device and are only sent temporarily to our servers when you use AI analysis features.
About Me
Ginkgo was created by Hinoki Design, an indie software design house founded by Will Greenberg in 2024. I wanted a simple and beautiful way to see how my plants grow over time, but I didn't want to be glued to my phone in order to do so. I want more software that enhances the things I love doing in the real world rather than taking time away from them. I started Hinoki to make tools and experiences just like that, and I'm thrilled to be starting this journey with Ginkgo.
